By photography journey, we mean taking them to places where they can do photography and receive a lot of love from people, with photos that have naturality and a deep connection to the street alongside unscripted photography.
India is a country where a lot of people live with different cultures, languages, castes, and religions. Every state in India is famous for its specialty in terms of food, festivals, language, and environment. In India, there are many places where food, clothing, living, and facial expressions are different, which is the ultimate setting for street photographers or visual storytelling. Street photography is a kind of deep observation and the art of timing, which gets a chance to be shown in India and connects with one’s memory.
And there is a city named Varanasi, which people also know by the names of Kashi and Banaras, which is truly unique. People say that Banaras is a city that is even older than history, which has a different vibe and experience altogether, and that is known only after coming here. Banaras is a city situated on the banks of the River Ganga, where people come not only after dying, but also before dying. It has its own history for dying, and Varanasi is the home and ghats for Aghori holy men.
And if I talk about myself, I was born in Banaras itself, and I feel very proud that I got the good fortune of being born in this city. And if we talk about a photography tour in Varanasi, it is a hub for photographers.

About
Hello, I am Pawan Srivastava, the founder of Pawan Photography Tour. I was born on the banks of the River Ganga in a city known to be older than history itself. Varanasi, known as Kashi in ancient times, is a place where I feel truly fortunate to be born. According to sages, saints, and scriptures, Varanasi is known as the city of Lord Shiva, and every person who takes birth here is considered very lucky.
I completed my education from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, passing B.Com with 75%. Since childhood, I had a passion for photography, and I always enjoyed working alongside people who were more experienced and expert than me. In this field, my elder brother, Amar Nishad, stood by me from the very beginning and guided me with every bit of knowledge. All the photos you see here have been captured by him.
Photography is my passion and hobby; I do not treat it as just a job or work, because there is a world of difference between work and passion. Through everyone I have worked with till today, I have learned that street photography is not just about taking photos or pictures—it is about capturing unspoken emotions and unscripted moments, and these photos carry deep observation and meaning within them.
